2010 Harvest Select Riesling
Columbia Valley
“This second vintage of our Harvest Select Riesling is made in a slightly sweeter style than our “Columbia Valley Riesling” but still shows the elements of classic Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. It offers beautiful crisp Washington Riesling character with rich flavors of ripe peaches and apricot. The fresh fruit and decadent character is balanced with crisp acidity to keep the wine in harmony. This is a perfect patio sipping wine or would be a great match with Thai food. Enjoy!”
- Bob Bertheau, Head Winemaker

Le Deves Visan
Cotes du Rhone 2009
Le Deves comes from 30-year-old vines. Olivier uses a blend of Grenache (90%) and Syrah (10%). The heavy emphasis in the blend is on the Grenache because Grenache is so successful in Visan because of it higher altitude and cooler nights.
Le Deves is a wine with great lively acidity which gives it great freshness. You’ll taste lots of black cherry and currant fruit with some notes of licorice and minerals. You will be transported to the south of France.  Cynthia Hurley, Importer

Intense tropical fruit notes up front and a crisp, clean finish.  Every new bottling has its own subtle and fresh personality. The 9 grapes tie together perfectly, creating a smooth, layered white wine sure to please the holiday crowd at your home

Mt. Beautiful
Pinot Gris 2009  $18.99
North Canterbury, New Zealand

This full-bodied Pinot Gris shows ripe Pear William fruit flavors combined with a hint of nuttiness and a spiced almond character on the palate. The creamy mouth-feel is enlivened by the crispness of wild plums, finishing smooth. This wine will develop very well in the bottle over the next two to three years.

Trenel
Beaujolais Villages
Nouveau 2011

Has just arrived!
A Thanksgiving Holiday Tradition.

It was the nouveau style which first gained the Beaujolais region its fame, providing 19th-century London and Paris with fresh, flavorful wines for the winter months. Merchants once competed to be the first to deliver the new wines across the English Channel

2010 Gaba do Xil Godello
Valdeorras, Spain  $16.99
89 Pts ~ Wine Advocate “The 2010 Gaba do Xil Godello (100%) offers up an inviting nose of pear, mineral, melon, and jasmine. Ripe, savory, and vibrant on the palate, this smooth-textured wine will deliver enjoyment for another 3-4 years.” (Jul 2011)

Cartlidge & Browne
Sauvignon Blanc 2009 Dancing Crow
Lake County, California

Tasting Notes: A brilliant light straw color, the wine’s aromas leap from the glass—ripe citrus, fresh lychee and stone fruits, along with a touch of the herbal/gooseberry character which is Sauvignon Blanc’s signature in so many of the famous areas of the world where it thrives. On the palate it is bright, with an especially attractive vibrant quality carrying the fruit flavors though to a clean, dry finish.

The Sum 2008
California Red Wine

Winemaker Notes - This amazingly well endowed profoundly rich red wine must be smelled and tasted to be believed. The color is a rich, deep purple garnet and gives but a small hint as to what’s inside. The nose gives off soaring and wonderfully focused aromas of ripe stone fruit, vanilla, cherries, cedar cigar box, blackberries and cinnamon. In the mouth, there are layers upon layers of broad, sweet opulent fruit balanced by firm tannins, great acidity and oak. This wine truly showcases the potential of blending and is a must have.

Chasing Lions
Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
North Coast California

A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, and 10% Petite Sirah, a truly outstanding and amazing value. Sweet blue and black fruits, camphor, and spice box all jump from the glass of this dense, medium-bodied red blend.

Bodegas y Viñedos del Jalon
Claraval Calatayud Spain 2006

91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2006 Claraval, 100% old-vine Garnacha, was sourced from higher elevation vineyards. Opaque purple-colored, the wine coats the glass. It gives up an alluring aromatic array of wood smoke, mineral, scorched earth, black cherry, black raspberry, and violets. This leads to a medium to full-bodied, layered wine with loads of sweet, spicy dark fruit flavors, ripe tannin, good balance, and a long, pure finish. Give it 2-3 years to blossom and drink it through 2020."

Calcu Rose 2010
Chile, South America

Winemaker's notes:
True to the winery's Mapuche name, meaning "magician," winemakers Alejandro Jofre and Ricardo Rivadeniera have created a magical rosé made from a blend of Malbec, Syrah, and Petit Verdot from Chile's Colchagua Valley. This vintage's bouquet is floral with subtle notes of citrus, raspberry and fresh spice. The palate is creamy, fresh and well balanced. It is a versatile wine that pairs equally well with goat cheese, seafood, grilled chicken and delicately seasoned Asian dishes. Just 12% alcohol.
